Jennifer Lang’s destiny for a career in the interior design was apparent from the beginning when as a small girl, she would build floor plans out of blocks, and constantly move the furniture around in her childhood bedroom to recreate the space.

This obsession eventually led her to earn a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Design/Interiors from Syracuse University. Jennifer still follows the major principles learned there; the primary focus of her design process is in creating functional, aesthetically pleasing environments for people to live, work, and play in. She understands the relationship between people and their interior environments, and how these environments fit into the larger setting: the existing architecture, nature, and community.

Over the past two decades, Jennifer has developed vast experience working with clients on local, national, and international levels; from new construction to renovation, even historic preservation. Completing successful projects in residential, corporate, professional, restaurant, and aircraft design has given her a broad spectrum of knowledge and understanding that she brings to every new venture. Recently, Jennifer has become a LEED Accredited Professional; a great benefit to clients who are striving for greener design solutions.

Though Jennifer’s design skills are strong and well-rounded in all areas from concept to completion, her proficiency at space planning, architectural detailing, and furniture design is notable. Furniture design in particular became a specialty early in her career, and her love for it led to the conception of her own collection. All of the pieces are original designs by Jennifer Lang, and are crafted with her “hands-on” involvement.

Under Jennifer’s steady guidance, Jennifer Lang Designs, Inc. brings diverse experience to new construction and renovation projects. Clients can count on Jennifer’s personal involvement in every aspect of the job. Whether she is creating a design for a single piece of furniture or managing a full scope project, Jennifer’s expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to her clients’ well-being are well recognized.
